Leading manufacturer Premier Supplies continues its expansion; acquiring the manufacturing arm of Dalmatian Windows in East Kilbride, Scotland. The move gives the award-winning Premier a dedicated window manufacturing facility and the capability to manufacture the entire Synseal SynerJy range in-house. Already the biggest K2 conservatory and orangery systems fabricator in the UK; this acquisition supports Premier’s ambitious growth plans as the company unveils a brand new look.Premier first made a name for itself in the conservatory sector and manufacturers WarmCore Aluminium Bi-Folds & Windows, Guardian Warm Roofs, SynerJy Windows, Stratus Lanterns, K2 Conservatory Roofs and Flat Roof Lights. With a head office and 40,000 sq ft manufacturing site in the North West of England, the business has moved from strength to strength over the last 8 years; securing contract wins for some of the biggest and most prominent home improvement companies across the UK.The East Kilbride factory will retain all 11 employees and continue to manufacture SynerJy windows with plans for further investment in machinery and new staff joining the team.Peter Gray, Managing Director of Premier Supplies said; “Earlier this year we identified the Scottish market as our next area for growth. We’ve already had great success with the WarmCore and Guardian brands; which are ideal product ranges for the Scottish climate. One of the main reasons for choosing this acquisition is the manufacturing expertise in the Scottish team, I was really impressed with the knowledge and product quality. This acquisition now makes Premier a one-stop-shop for the complete Synseal range, which we think will be key to helping us grow; we’ve worked hard to establish ourselves as the number 1 manufacturer of conservatories and we’re hoping to achieve the same position in the windows market in Scotland.’’Kevin Warner, Sales Director from Synseal said; “We’re delighted Premier has made this acquisition, as they are such an excellent manufacturer of our other product ranges and we are confident Premier will invest in the growth of the operation in Scotland, opening up future opportunities.’’The acquisition follows the new appointment of Lennie Morris as Business Development Manager in Scotland, to provide a full service to installers across the country. Lennie stated; “I chose Premier because of the fact they’re a leading manufacturer of so many products and the in-house technical expertise means we can really deliver a strong ‘fabricator-installer’ relationship which is how we deliver a premier service.”
