Experience 360° room comfort from SIEGENIA first-hand at FENSTERBAU 2024

At FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024, SIEGENIA will be showcasing pioneering solutions to demonstrate its commitment to creating healthy, comfortable and smart spaces that make people feel good. A true first awaits visitors at Hall 4, Stand 215.

Under the banner of “360° Future”, the stand will include a must-see “smart house” demonstrating, amongst other products, new smart sensors, window handles and single-room ventilation units and how they can all be operated centrally from a phone. Alongside this will be the more traditional product exhibits showcasing anything but traditional products. From new launches in their DRIVE motorized hardware to additions to their well-established TITAN and ALU tilt and turn ranges, below are just a handful of the innovations you can experience there.

DRIVE axxent LS motorised drive – fast, concealed and quiet

SIEGENIA’s new concealed motorised lift-and-slide door drive for high-end residential and commercial buildings boasts a powerful combination of style and functionality. Aesthetics are guaranteed by the absence of any surface-mounted components or additional covers and the extremely compact motors are even suitable for use with narrow profile systems and are compatible with all frame materials. With its quiet action and reduced lifting time of just 3 seconds, the solution offers ease of use, while fabricators benefit from short manufacturing times and easy installation. The DRIVE axxent LS will be available from this summer.

Versatile, durable and space-saving: ECO SLIDE CO sliding hardware

Space-saving installation, robust operation and with the production benefit of being based around existing turn-and-tilt components, this versatile sliding hardware offers end users an attractive combination of intuitive operation and stylish design. As a sliding window or door, it adapts perfectly to any room and its tight, continuous seal ensures a high level of energy efficiency, plus burglar resistance up to RC2. The new solution is compatible with a wide range of profile systems and is exceptionally cost-efficient in production, requiring only a few additional parts.

BS 3700 automatic multi-point lock with integrated self-adjustment

Premièring at FENSTERBAU, this novel automatic lock with its self-adjustment feature enables considerable time and cost savings as readjustments on site will no longer be necessary at any point in the door's life cycle. If the locking elements come to a standstill before even reaching the end position, they are locked, holding the door sash reliably in position. And the automatic 20 mm clearance between the hook bolt and main lock bolt ensures a high level of security. There is also maximum flexibility to customise the lock, whether it's with the optional A-opener, a daytime release, safety lock or extension pieces for 3-metre-high doors.

For sashes up to 180 kg: axxent 750 ALU concealed door hinge

Concealed in the profile, the hinge for contemporary aluminium doors accommodates high sash weights up to 180 kg and provides burglar resistance up to RC2 as standard. As well as the aesthetics, end users can appreciate the ease of operation due to the low-friction hinge bearing. Fabrication is also extremely efficient thanks to the 3D adjustment mechanism integrated in the sash component. Automated installation is possible with no need to loosen the load-bearing screws and, unlike other solutions, no additional components are required to adjust the height. Automated production processes are further supported by the self-tapping screws, and the intuitive "click-in" technology ensures safe and reliable operation. The new hinge is suitable for a wide range of aluminium profile systems and will be available in jet black (RAL 9005) and white aluminium (RAL 9006).

TITAN 90°, safety and comfort opening restrictors

The new TITAN 90° opening restrictor protects the sash and hinge side against improper use and damage, limiting the turn opening width to 90° and thereby protecting the sash from bumping against the reveal or furnishings. The new solution has been tested in accordance with DOEB guidelines, is suitable for use with face-fix and concealed hinge sides in all profile materials and will be rolled out gradually from late summer.

SIEGENIA will also be showing two special safety and comfort opening restrictors, which limit turn-only and turn-and-tilt sashes to a maximum opening of 89 mm without the need for additional release mechanisms. With the comfort version, the restrictor can be decoupled quickly and easily with just one action. A version compliant with EN 13126-5 is also available for cases with child safety requirements and comes fitted with an anti-slam device. Safety and comfort opening restrictor versions in the ALU range for link rod will also be shown and offer all the same features and benefits as the TITAN versions for timber and PVC.

FENSTERBAU FRONTALE runs from 19th to 22nd March in Nuremberg, Germany and you can get a preview of the SIEGENIA campaign now, or even follow a livestream of the stand during the event at www.360zukunft.com/en
