Founded in 2018, timed perfectly with the rampant rise in demand for aluminium windows and doors in the UK fenestration market, Sheerline, a brand of Garnalex, has grown quickly to become one of the leading aluminium systems on the market.

The company is one of only a handful of aluminium systems that extrude their own products in the UK, at their vertically integrated manufacturing facility based in Derbyshire. Sustainability is at the heart of the Sheerline brand, with UK sourced aluminium and a patented method of construction that significantly reduces fabrication waste. They also have one of the most energy-efficient extrusion facilities in the country, and with the Sheerline product made here in Great Britain, the impact on the environment is greatly reduced. Sheerline are also members of Made In Britain and use machinery and state-of-the-art production processes to reduce energy consumption by 55%.

After their 2018 launch, Sheerline quickly expanded from their window product offering, to now being able to boast two excellent window and door systems, alongside their sleek S1 roof lantern, all based around Thermlock® technology, ensuring all products comply with Part L as standard.

Commenting on Sheerline’s participation in the NFAs this year, the team said: “Sheerline is a brilliant aluminium brand and it has been exciting to see their rapid growth from their launch in 2020. They are sponsoring what is set to be an incredibly competitive category, considering the growth in this area of the market, and we’re excited to have such a great name behind a key category this year!”

Garnalex, the business behind the Sheerline brand, also said: “We’re very excited to be putting our name to the Aluminium Fabricator of the Year category this year. The demand for aluminium windows and doors in the residential market has been phenomenal and we know that the competition in this particular category is going to be fierce. We’re very much looking forward to building our partnership with the NFAs this year.”
