Updated NFA2020 Campaign Dates Announced
Despite the major disruption to the year for much of the sector, the National Fenestration Awards continues to progress into the year. The 2020 campaign, in light of the current situation, was reshaped earlier on in the year to reflect the impact the COVID-19 pandemic was having on the fenestration sector.New categories such as the COVID Heroes and Showroom Of The Year were introduced, whilst categories like New Company Of The Year were suspended given the external circumstances. The 2020 campaign, despite the turbulence so far this year, has continued to see nominations for the shortlist phase flood in, as the industry seeks reasons to celebrate the best people and companies in the sector. At the time, the organisers of the awards said they would leave the nominations phase open for as long as required, until some sense of stability returned and there was a clear path towards bringing the campaign to a natural phase forwards. Now the industry has been back to work since May, and the nominations are continuing to be sent in, the NFAs can now announce the revised set of dates for the remainder of this calendar year. They are as follows:Nominations phase closes: Friday September 11th at 10pmShortlists announced: Thursday 17th September at 8pmVoting goes live: Friday 18th September at 9amVoting closes: Tuesday 24th November at 10pmWinners announced: Saturday 28th NovemberThere remains plenty of time for nominations to be sent in. Once voting goes live on Friday 18th September the industry will then be voting for the overall winners in each category. Each person can vote once per category.Due to the pandemic, the planned 2019 Winners Event was postponed. However, the NFAs can announce that the trophies due to be presented to the winners at the event are going to be sent direct to the winners for them to proudly display. To keep up to date with the latest awards announcements, and industry news via the NFA news section, be sure to follow via:Twitter: @NatFenAwardsFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/NatFenAwardsLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/51726620/admin/Web: www.fenestrationawards.co.uk
