Why Masterframe And Timberweld® Are Exhibiting At Fenex
Masterframe and Timberweld are both set to exhibit at the FENEX Doors, Windows & Hardware Expo this coming November and at the main event in April. The response from the industry to this brand new platform has been overwhelmingly positive, with 22 brands already signed up to FENEX, with many more to come. We asked Alan Burgess, from Masterframe, why both brands have decided to exhibit at FENEX and to comment on where the path for fenestration now lies, here’s what he had to say:We all know necessity is the mother of invention. Six months ago the world changed. Showroom closed, face to face meetings ended, the outlook was at best uncertain! I had never heard of Zoom, Teams or Webinex, and didn’t understand why anyone would ever need to have a showroom online! Yet new communication channels quickly opened up. Forward-looking companies recreated themselves, offered improved solutions so that their client base has the best chance of succeeding. Subsequently, Masterframe sponsored showroom tours for nearly 20 of its partners, with interactive hotspots, video clips and close-ups, even promo videos all designed to assist the selling process. We added extra features to our bespoke software so that windows could be designed and priced 24/7, with professional quotations. Everything installers needed to get them working again. Obviously, lockdown meant it was impossible to feel the quality of our windows, the added confidence from the weight of the parts, the lustre of finishing’s, however using sample displays and online tours, meant our customers we still able to showcase our products and communicate the value of the solid build quality. That’s why Timberweld is exhibiting at FENEX 2021. So many installers and fabricators are stuck in their ways. So many just offer a standard 45-degree mitred joint, (a dead give-away its plastic) or do “half a job”, just having a butt joint on the outside face. We see FENEX 2021 as a great new way to showcase Timberweld, to fabricators and installers alike because demand has risen for welded, authentic joints. We also see it as a great way to promote Masterframe sash windows to installers, especially those looking for something “better than average”, award-winning sash windows of distinction, ones which look, “indistinguishable from wooden originals, even at close quarters”. FENEX will also enable us to promote our very exciting, unique and game-changing new product, next April. Pre-registration for FENEX is free and is live. It only takes a minute.
