Senior Product Manager for a global manufacturer. Hybrid working plus excellent benefits

Senior Product Manager sought by the windows division of a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide.

Their head office is in Herefordshire, but they are able to consider applicants from any UK location with fire-rated experience on a hybrid/remote basis, if not commutable to Herefordshire. 

Role Objective:

With a new project under way to offer fire-rated windows and doors, the company is looking for an experienced construction industry professional to spearhead the project’s growth over the next several years. You will also be responsible for their existing system accessories portfolio. 

The Role:

·         Working on commercial topics e.g. strategy development, pricing, market research, compliance, stock management, sales analysis, and product launches

·         Product management of system accessories - hinges, handles, locks, internal steel components

·         Development and product management of new fire door and fire window portfolio

·         Supporting the sales team in promoting a diverse range of fenestration products

·         Dealing with internal and external stakeholders: suppliers, purchasing/supply chain, sales, and marcomms

·         Working with a team member within system accessories (no line management)

·         Ensuring profitable and sustainable business growth through the consistent implementation of the UK strategy

·         UK Travel 1-2 times weekly

·         Occasional trips to testing facility in France

 

The Person:

·         Experience of product management within the construction or fenestration industry

·         Experience and working knowledge of fire-rated construction products, including application and legislative requirements is highly desirable

·         Degree/HND qualified is ideal, or qualified by experience

·         Experience of creating business plans, data analysis, spotting future trends

·         Ability to adapt to complex business situations and market requirements

·         A structured approach

·         Focused, analytical mind

·         Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel is essential
