UKAS Joins National Fenestration Awards as Category Sponsors

UKAS, the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, has joined the National Fenestration Awards as official “Customer Service / Operations Person of the Year” category sponsor for the 2024 campaign.

UKAS is the sole body appointed by the UK Government (the Department for Business and Trade) to provide accreditation to conformity assessment bodies in the UK. By gaining accreditation, certification bodies demonstrate through impartial assessment that they meet the required standards of competence as set out by recognised international standards. Once accredited, a certification body can use the coveted government-backed national accreditation symbol – commonly referred to as the “UKAS Crown and Tick”.

The National Fenestration Awards was founded 11 years ago to find and reward the very best people and companies in the most inclusive way possible. Anyone who works in the UK fenestration sector can take part by nominating in more than 30 categories. The companies and people that are put forward then go on to make up shortlists where the industry then votes for the winners in each category. It is a popular format which has seen the NFAs cement it’s place as the premier awards platform in fenestration.
